LIM College is a private, specialized undergraduate and graduate college focused on the business of fashion in Midtown Manhattan.
==History==
The college was founded in 1939 by Maxwell F. Marcuse as the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising, at the request of retailers who wanted a school that would teach students about the fashion business and merchandising. Maxwell Marcuse's son, Adrian G. Marcuse, was president from 1972 to 2002, succeeded by Elizabeth S.
